Dhanush, the hot pan of Kollywood with hat-trick hits and a new title ‘Ilaya Superstar’ is now working for his next ‘Aadukalam’, to be directed by Vetrimaran.

Vetrimaran and Dhanush took Tamil cinema by storm with their super hit ‘Polladhavan’ and the duo come back this time with a tight script to woo the masses once again. For the first time, Vetrimaran opened an office in Madurai, to do an extensive research on the city’s heritage and meticulously worked for almost a year to come out with the storyline.

Trisha will be paired up with Dhanush for the first time in the role of an Anglo-Indian girl. GV Prakash Kumar will once again be composing the tunes for this film after ‘Polladhavan’. Kishore plays an important role besides debutant V. I. S. Jayabalan, a Srilankan Tamil writer and a political critic.
